Let us discover together how great the power of perseverance is.
When we start a new year or a new stage in life, we always have many expectations and questions.
Then we begin to dream with intensity and faith rises. Let’s see how we can stay in that faith and unleash the power of perseverance as we move forward.
Perseverance is a result of character
Many with the passing of the days begin to adapt and resign themselves to continuing to live the same, leaving dreaming and believing God for much more.
The LORD said to me, If competing in the race with simple men—those of Anatot—have tired you, how are you going to compete against horses, against the king, his court, and all his evil priests? If on land couple stumbles and you fall, what will you do in the jungles of the Jordan River?
Jeremiah 12:1-5 NBD
Perseverance is determined by strength of character or the ability to resist and continue above everything that happens inside or outside of us.
If on the day of affliction you become discouraged, very limited is your strength. Niv
If you fail under pressure, your strength is scarce. Ntv
The human being himself is weak in character, because he lost the relationship with God who empowers us to move forward every day.
What determines the degree of perseverance? Faith.
You can see Jeremiah 20:7-13
We all face moments of questions and question why certain situations happen.
The difference is in what we have inside
If Jesus is living and reigning in our hearts, then the Word of God is living within us and is irrepressible.
When we rely on Jesus to persevere, He strengthens us every day because “we can do everything in Christ that strengthens us” (see Philippians 4:13).
Persevering in God is completely related to living with faith in His Word, that is to have confidence in Him.La perseverancia es empoderada por la fe en Jesús, quien es La Palabra viviente de Dios en nosotros. Click To Tweet
You can see John 5:36-40
If God’s Word is living within us then faith in Jesus becomes stronger.
9 Dear friends, though we speak this way, we do not believe that this applies to you. We are convinced that you are destined for better things, which come with salvation.
10 For God is not unjust. He will not forget how hard they have worked for him and how they have shown his love for him by serving other believers as they still do.
11 Our great desire is that they should continue to love others as long as they have life, to ensure that what they expect will come true.
12 Then shall they not become clumsy or spiritually indifferent. Instead, they will follow the example of those who, through their faith and perseverance, will inherit God’s promises.
Hebrews 6:9-12 NTV
To be conquerors of promises we must always be persevering. This is not an option but the constant attitude of those who are determined to achieve the impossible, of course, with god’s wonderful help.El progreso con estabilidad es más el resultado de la perseverancia que de la habilidad para hacer algo. God’s promises must be worked with perseverance, by faith, until they are attained.
We must persevere in God’s promises until we reach them.
Nothing should lower the level of faith in our hearts.
It’s never a good time to be afraid, or discouraged.
God seeks dreamers who dream His dreams and reach them on earth.
It is time to dream, believe, and persevere in faith in God through Jesus Christ.
